Monasteroris NS Code of Behaviour is the result of the ongoing consultation and collaboration between the Principal, staff, parents, and Board of Management of the school. It was reviewed in November 2009 and reformulated on our School Planning Day on December 4th 2009 in the light of “Developing a Code of Behaviour – Guidelines for Schools”, issued by the National Educational Welfare Board (NEWB). The Board of Management, the Parents, and the School Staff were all actively involved in re-drafting the Code. Guidance was also provided by Mairead Hennessy, an advisor with the Primary Professional Development Service (PPDS).
