Science Week 2020

Recently all of our pupils participated in Science Week. Some of the topics explored included the Water Cycle, rainbows, colour mixing, how sugar dissolves, designing and building bridges, forces such as gravity, buoyancy, water resistance, air resistance and friction. Pupils in the senior room also enjoyed researching Irish scientists and creating a project on their favourite Irish scientist. They also enjoyed investigating the difference between newtons and kilograms using newton meters. It was an extremely enjoyable week for both our pupils and staff. Well done to all our young scientists!
